GHOST RIDER volume 1 (1973-1983)
Following a 7-issue stint in Marvel Spotlight, the Ghost Rider was awarded his own bi-monthly title (which was promoted to monthly status many years later). The series soon drifted into super-hero territory until the lengthy writing stint by Michael Fleisher and the final ground-breaking run on the series by writers Roger Stern and J.M. DeMatteis.
